The Resource Library at Resource Connection for Kids (RC4K) has a collection of toys, games, puzzles, books, videos, and thematic resource kits to borrow. Items can be checked out for a month at a time. Members are required to fill out a membership form with their personal information (such as name, address, and phone). They agree to pay for any items lost or broken while in their possession, otherwise membership is free. There are many resource books that can be used in the library and individuals can make copies of materials they like. Members get 5 free copies each time they come in and additional copies are 5 cents per page.
The library also has an Ellison die cut machine. Members can bring their own paper or buy the large sheets from RC4K for a nickel a sheet. A laminator is also available for a cost of .50 per letter size pouch or $1.00 per ft for the larger (18 inches) machine.
Sue Davis teaches a free Make & Take class the first Thursday of each month from 6:30 - 8:30. Providers and parents can get craft ideas to take home to use with their children. This is for adults only and interested individuals must call Jackie at 745-5949 Ex 3110 to register, class size is limited to 20.
Open Monday through Friday from 8 - 5, but it is best to call ahead to the library to make sure someone is there Afternoons are best.
